Tanfield is one of the leading sets for property issues relating to building safety and, in particular, the Building Safety Act 2022.  We are regularly involved in the most important cases in this area.

• Andrew Butler KC co-edits The Law Society’s The Building Safety Act: A Guide for Property Lawyers, to which a number of members also contribute.
• Dovar and Sawtell on The Building Safety Act 2022, written by a team of barristers from Tanfield Chambers and 39 Essex Chambers, is the first title to provide comprehensive coverage of the Building Safety Act, addressing key issues impacting both construction law and landlord & tenant law.
• We produce a regular BSA conference and offer all the materials from these conferences for those unable to attend.
• Members provide seminars for a variety of external organisations (such as the PLA and News on the Block) as well as articles.
