As a leading business and property chambers, we are looking to develop the successful candidates into successful barristers within our busy and rewarding sector. Candidates will be expected to have outstanding academic credentials, strong inter-personal skills, and to be ambitious, motivated and committed to excellence. Candidates should have some experience of, and an interest in property law.
Third six barristers will be assessed and considered for membership at the end of six months. They will be allocated a member of chambers as a mentor (akin to a supervisor). The successful candidates can expect a busy court and tribunal based practice involving possession claims, service charge disputes and small claim trials as well as advisory work.
Procedure for application: Applications should be made by way of CV, together with two references or the names of two referees, and a short covering letter to pupillage@tanfieldchambers.co.uk. Applications will be assessed on receipt of application.
