Alex joined Tanfield Chambers in April 2018, having previously spent over 10 years at a leading commercial set. He looks after a Property, Private Client and Family team.
He is active with FreeBar, a network aiming to foster inclusion and support for LGBT+ people working as and with barristers. For the last 5 years he has been involved with the FreeBar Visibility Project, which can be viewed here – https://freebar.co.uk/visibility/. Alex is a also a member of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys cycling, beer and travelling.
