Tanfield Chambers in The Legal 500 UK Bar 2027

Tanfield Chambers is pleased to announce its results in The Legal 500 UK Bar Guide 2027, published today. Tanfield remains a Tier 2 set for Property Litigation. Twenty-one members hold 24 individual rankings across Property Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Insolvency and Professional Negligence.

This year’s results include four members moving up a tier and two members recognised for the first time.

New ranking

Nora Wannagat is ranked for the first time, entering the Insolvency table at Tier 5. It is a thoroughly deserved achievement.

Moving up a tier

Sam Madge-Wyld and Richard Granby have both moved up in Property Litigation. Sam goes from Tier 4 to Tier 3 and Richard from Tier 5 to Tier 4. They were also promoted in the Chambers and Partners UK Bar Guide 2027 last month, so it has been an exceptional year for both of them.

Marc Glover moves from Tier 5 to Tier 4 in Commercial Litigation. This comes alongside his new Chambers and Partners ranking in Chancery: Commercial.

Birgitta Meyer moves from Tier 5 to Tier 4 in Insolvency.

Rising Star

Annie Higgo is recognised as a Rising Star in Property Litigation, which is excellent recognition of a growing practice.

All other members have kept their rankings. Congratulations to everyone recognised this year, and thank you to our clients for their continued support.
