Dara is now in his second six of pupillage and available to take on instructions. Dara commenced pupillage at Tanfield…
Overview
Dara commenced pupillage at Tanfield in September 2025. He is currently supervised by Daniel Dovar, having previously been supervised by Carl Fain and Nora Wannagat. As a practising second sixth pupil, Dara regularly appears in Court, drafts pleadings, and undertakes a range of advisory work.
Dara has gained experience across a broad range of Chambers’ specialisms, including:
- Real Property (such as land registration, legal charges, issues relating to TOLATA 1996, restrictive covenants, and contracts for the sale of freehold land)
- Residential Landlord and Tenant (such as service charge disputes, leasehold enfranchisement, the Right to Manage, the appointment of a manager, lease variation, breach of covenant disputes, forfeiture, disrepair, and possession proceedings)
- Commercial Landlord and Tenant (such as dilapidations, business lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, and forfeiture)
- Building Safety (particularly issues relating to Higher Risk Buildings)
- Trusts and Probate (particularly Inheritance Act disputes and challenges to testamentary capacity)
- Insolvency and Company (particularly unfair prejudice, applications to set aside statutory demands, winding up and bankruptcy petitions, and validation orders)
Dara has a particular interest in land registration disputes and is happy to accept instructions in all of Chambers’ practice areas. In his practising second sixth, he has gained particular experience in relation to possession proceedings, disrepair, gas access injunctions, service charges disputes, leasehold enfranchisement, and forfeiture.
Before coming to the Bar, Dara was a paralegal at Keystone Law, where he assisted with a range of prime and super prime residential property transactions. He also completed a research based Master of Jurisprudence, which focused upon how ‘mistake’ should be construed for the purposes of Schedule 4 to the Land Registration Act 2002. During this time, Dara taught land law to undergraduate students.
Outside of law, Dara is an avid supporter of Fulham Football Club and follows his teams across the country.
