Overview

Dara commenced pupillage at Tanfield in September 2025. He is currently supervised by Carl Fain, having previously been supervised by Nora Wannagat.

Dara has gained experience across a broad range of Chambers’ specialisms, including:

  • Real Property (such as legal charges, issues relating to TOLATA 1996, restrictive covenants, and land registration)
  • Residential Landlord and Tenant (particularly service charges, leasehold management, and forfeiture)
  • Commercial Landlord and Tenant (particularly dilapidations and forfeiture)
  • Building Safety (particularly issues relating to Higher Risk Buildings)
  • Trusts and Probate (particularly Inheritance Act disputes and challenges to testamentary capacity)
  • Insolvency and Company (particularly unfair prejudice, applications to set aside statutory demands, winding up and bankruptcy petitions, and validation orders)

Before coming to the Bar, Dara was a paralegal at Keystone Law, where he assisted with a range of prime and super prime residential property transactions. He also completed a research based Master of Jurisprudence at Durham University, which focused upon how ‘mistake’ should be construed for the purposes of Schedule 4 to the Land Registration Act 2002. During this time, Dara taught land law to undergraduate students.

Outside of law, Dara is an avid supporter of Fulham Football Club and follows his team across the country.
