Marc Glover has been instructed as Prince Hussam's lead counsel in the dispute since 2023, having taken over from John Wardell KC (Wilberforce). Peter Arden KC (Erskine Chambers) and Geraint Jones KC (3 Paper Buildings), were engaged with Marc in the Petition hearing, along with Tanfield’s Hugh Rowan. Two new Silks for Tanfield in 2018
Andrew Butler and Timothy Polli will be appointed Queen’s Counsel in February.

Andrew’s background is in Real Property and the majority of his practice is in Professional Negligence and Commercial claims with a property element. Recognised by the leading directories for a number of years, “he inspires confidence in the client” and has “good technical knowledge matched by an ability to give practical advice.”
Tim specialises in property and commercial law and associated professional negligence. He has broad experience encompassing most aspects of real property, mortgages and banking, both commercial and residential landlord and tenant, trusts of land and proprietary estoppel. Having been shortlisted for Real Estate Junior of the Year at the 2016 Chambers UK Bar awards, Tim receives praise from the directories, describing him as “really intelligent, great on his feet, easy to deal with and very popular with clients.” He is further reported as “very commercial – and he finds solutions for clients.”
The silk ceremony will take place on Monday 26th February 2018.
