Dealing with trespass to development land

This talk will address the ways in which development land may suffer from acts of trespass and will focus particularly on how to deal with professional squatters and protesters, oversailing and overhanging structures and plant, and obtaining or resisting injunctive relief.

The other side of the coin

How to make a successful application to HM Land Registry for registration following a period of adverse possession: A talk dealing with the process of applying for registration, together with an analysis of the practical, tactical and procedural issues arising out of the litigation in R (Best) v Chief Land Registrar[2015] EWCA Civ 17.

The law of encroachment

This talk will provide an overview of the law of encroachment, including practical advice on making applications based on this doctrine under the Land Registration Act 2002.
