Following two successful conferences on the Building Safety Act 2022, Tanfield is pleased to confirm the details for our third conference on this rapidly developing area of law. BSA Day III is designed to bring you the latest updates and insights into key developments surrounding the Building Safety Act.
With case law continuing to evolve, the conference will cover all the essential updates, including an in-depth look at the Triathon/Hippersley Point decisions in the Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court ruling in URS v BDW, the recent decision of the Upper Tribunal in Almacantar v de Valk, and much more. Topics will include:
- FTT practice and procedure
- Service charges and retrospectivity
- The latest developments relating to ROs and RCOs
Tanfield is a leading set in relation to BSA work and edits both Dovar & Sawtell on The Building Safety Act (Sweet & Maxwell – publication October 2025) and The Building Safety Act: a guide for property lawyers (The Law Society).
This year’s conference will be chaired by Andrew Butler KC, with assistance from Lorenzo Leoni.
