A regular short update of the most important developments in the property law world brought to you by our Junior barristers.
In each 15 minutes episode, they will look at the new laws and procedures coming into force, Court of Tribunal operations, and any changes on the horizon. In the second half of the episodes, they will also summarise and discuss a selection of new judgments for you to stay “Up To Date”.
This week, Katie Gray and Richard Granby discuss the state of the High Street after a dire quarter day for landlords, as well as a recent important decision of the Upper Tribunal relating to rent repayment orders. Case discussed this week are: Vadamalayan v Stewart [2020] UKUT 0183 (LC) and Point West GR Limited v Bassi [2020] EWCA Civ 795.
