New Tenants Announcement

We are pleased to announce that, following the successful completion of their pupillages, Cameron Neilson, Julian Torres and Sami Allan have become full tenants of Tanfield Chambers.
Their successful transition to tenancy marks the culmination of a rigorous 12-month training period, during which they have demonstrated exceptional legal skills, professionalism, and dedication to the practice of law. Throughout their pupillages, each has met and exceeded the high standards set by our Chambers.
As full tenants, Julian, Cameron, and Sami will continue to develop their practices across a range of areas that complement the breadth of expertise offered by Tanfield Chambers.
- Julian accepts instructions in Wills, Trusts & Probate, Landlord & Tenant, Real Property, and Insolvency.
- Cameron brings experience in a wide array of Chambers’ practice areas, offering a versatile approach to both contentious and advisory work.
- Sami specialises in property disputes, including possession proceedings and landlord-tenant issues, along with a strong focus on mortgages and insolvency matters.
Andrew Butler KC, Head of Chambers, commented: “Sami, Cameron, and Julian are to be congratulated on successfully completing their pupillages and being offered tenancy. They are worthy additions to Tanfield’s strong and cohesive body of junior barristers.”
Walter Womersley, CEO, would also like to add: “We are delighted to welcome Sami, Cameron, and Julian as new tenants at Tanfield. We wish them every success and look forward to their careers flourishing as part of Chambers.”
We look forward to supporting them as they grow their practices and contribute to the ongoing success of our Chambers.
