Overview
Julian commenced his pupillage and was called to the Bar in October 2024. He has been supervised by Edward Denehan and Nora Wannagat. He is currently supervised by Martin Young.
During his first six months of pupillage, Julian has seen a wide range of the work undertaken by members of Chambers, including: real property; land registration; insolvency; wills, trusts & probate; forfeiture; possession proceedings; charges; and general commercial work.
Julian accepts instructions in the following areas:
- Wills, trusts & probate;
- Residential and commercial landlord and tenant;
- Real property; and
- Insolvency.
Julian read Law at Downing College, Cambridge before undertaking the BCL at Oxford and an LLM in Art Law at the University York. He wrote his dissertation on proposals to reform the UK’s cultural property spoliation regime.
Outside of the law, Julian is a keen amateur photographer.
