Overview
Andrew Thompson retired from practice at the end of 2013, after 43 years at the Bar.
Andrew’s practise specialised in all aspects of employment law, including contracts of employment, wrongful and unfair dismissal, equalopportunities, restrictive covenants, transfers of undertakings, business reorganisations (including handling mass redundancies), and EU law relating to employment matters.
Andrew is an editor of Harvey on Industrial Relations and Employment Law, the leading work in the field and he remains an active contributor to seminars and conferences as part of the employment group at Tanfield.
